Nice job on the painting. The palette is very interesting too (and so insanely organized?!). I'm often really taken by the end result "process" over (my own) finished paintings . In 2002 I took pictures of my palettes during my 3 month residency.
Hi Reb! Yes, I have some sort of weird organizational affliction in the studio. Every thing is tidy & in its place. Interesting that you took pictures of your palettes during your residency... this idea hadn't ever occured to me until I took this picture. But I like the idea of documenting "both ends" of the piece - the product & the process. :)
thanks art powerlines! No no... I avoid anything too obliquely editorial in the titles. The title for each of these pieces is the person's birth name, followed by their current official title. (ex. "Condoleezza Rice, United States' Secretary of State")
